cast your cares upon the Lord because He cares for you
fear not, for I have redeemed you: I have called you by name and you are mine
since he clings to me I rescue him, I raise him on high, since he acknowledges my name
he calls to me and I answer him: in distress I am at his side
I rescue him and bring him honor.
I shall satisfy him with long life, and grant him to see my salvation
I have chosen you, I have not rejected you, do not be afraid, for I am with you; do not be alarmed for I am your God. I give you strength, truly I help you, truly I hold you firm with my saving right hand.
He has given his angels orders about you to guard you wherever you go.
Let us know, let us strive to know the Lord. That he will come is as certain as the dawn. He will come to us like a shower, Like the rain of springtime to the earth.
John 14: 27
Peace, I bequeath to you, my own peace I give you, a peace which the world cannot give, this is my gift to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.
I raise my eyes toward the mountains. From where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, The maker of heaven and earth. God will not allow your foot to slip; Your guardian does not sleep. Truly, the guardian…never slumbers.
in repentance and rest is your salvation In quietness and trust is your strength
Have pity on me, Lord, for I am weak; Heal me, Lord, for my bones are trembling. In utter terror is my soul – And you, Lord, how long. . . Turn, Lord, save my life; In your mercy rescue me. I am wearied with sighing; All night long tears drench my bed; My couch is soaked with weeping. My eyes are dimmed with sorrow, Worn out because of all my foes. Away from me, all who do evil. The Lord has heard my prayer; The Lord takes up my plea.
And he Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross
Draw close to God, and He will draw close to you.
Then you will call and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say:
Here am I.
The Lord supports all who are falling And raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look hopefully to you; You give them their food in due season. You open wide you hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing. You, Lord, are just in all your ways, Faithful in all your works. You, Lord, are near to all who call upon you, To all who call upon you in truth. You satisfy the desire of those who fear you; You hear their cry and save them.
